WOLFVILLE – Acadia University's Department of Athletics celebrated the 2023-24 season on Wednesday night at the annual Fred G. Kelly Awards Night, hosted in Andrew H. McCain Arena.
The Acadia Axewomen program had five players named AUS all-stars on Wednesday, while the Axemen had one member announced prior to the championships beginning this week in Cape Breton.

Matt Holton, an alumnus of the Acadia Axemen soccer program, has returned as an assistant coach. He made his debut on the bench on Saturday when the Axemen picked up a 4-1 victory over the Mount Allison Mounties.
WOLFVILLE - Anderson Peters scored three times in 15 minutes to pace the Acadia Axemen (1-1-1) offence in their 4-1 victory over the Mount Allison Mounties (0-2-0) on Saturday.
An 84th minute goal by Oscar Marshall salvaged a point for the Axemen men's soccer team on Sunday afternoon as they came from behind to earn a point in a 2-2 draw against the UPEI Panthers.
